Purchase, Freight and Delivery
You can expect to receive your order from Natural Abundance in a timely manner and in good condition.
We attempt to dispatch our products within two days of ordering. You may experience some delays where your order includes cakes, cultures or other food we manufacture, depending on the timing of the production cycle.
We also do not dispatch cultures after Wednesday to ensure they do not get caught in transit over the weekend.
If your order is placed on a weekend or holiday, it will be dispatched the next business day.
We currently use Castle Parcels and Post Haste for delivery of general merchandise inside New Zealand. We use CourierPost for probiotic cultures as they have the most reliable services across New Zealand.
A signature or name will be obtained as proof of delivery on all merchandise consignments. Goods will not be left at an unattended address unless authorised by the recipient at the time of purchase.
No signature will be obtained for probiotic cultures or perishable food as they do not survive a re-delivery service. Couriers are generally good at leaving your package in a safe place.
Authority to leave unattended can be authorised through the Special Instructions field at the time of confirmation of purchase.
Please note that our couriers will not deliver to a Post Office box. You must provide a physical address. NZ Post only allows their own courier service to deliver to PO Boxes.
Differential Freight Pricing Policy
As a point of fairness to ensure that you are paying the actual cost of freight, rather than a subsidised amount we use a differential freight pricing policy based on the region of New Zealand in which your purchase is being delivered.
