Of al the cakes, Paleo and Vegan, I think this is my favourite cake. The Vegan version has something about it.

Picture organic Mangawhai Figs (from the Fig’n Delicious orchard) marinated in Cooper’s Naturally Brewed Stout, clove powder and ground pepper.

Then baked into the Extreme Cake base of coconut oil, coconut sugar, coconut floor, cacao and organic eggs.

Then iced with our coconut sugar, coconut oil and cacao icing mix that is spiced with more clove powder and pepper.

It has a balance of flavours that takes your palate a while to unpick. But nothing overpowers or contradicts.
